In a small space it is essential to maximise the area available in order to optimise the functionality of a kitchen. In this particular example, there were numerous features of the kitchen that were awkwardly placed, leaving the room feeling cramped and difficult to navigate.
A bold, retro style kitchen was the desire of our clients, and the finished product demonstrates not only the versatility of our designers, but also our ability to tailor a space to meet your specific needs.
It is essential for features such as a parquet floor to blend with the wall units, and by using oak panels as accents we achieved this, whilst also creating a clean contrast with the vibrant pistachio satin doors.
A Corian worktop was a priority in this design, and its neutral colour provides a break between the other finishes in the room.
A wall between the kitchen and dining room was knocked through to forge an open family living space, however a steel beam was installed as a result of this work. A ceiling box was designed to cover this, into which the cooker hood was installed.
This example highlights our ability to not only bring your ideas to life, but also overcome obstacles achieved along the way in an attractive yet practical manner.
